The last few years have been a roller-coaster ride. It was something like as if I had suddenly sprouted a few extra hands like our great goddess Durga. While half of my hands were involved in cooking, cleaning and changing diapers, the other half successfully wrote a few hundred online articles, article queries and launched marketing campaigns.
Along with all this came the added pleasure of writing copy and content for various websites and products, while I shifted my house twice. But, if given a choice I wouldn’t trade all I went through for anything else in the world. The joy and comfort of creating my own writing world at home along with looking after my little toddler son was wonderful. That paypacket that came along every month was also pretty reassuring.
Forget it! Writers are no longer poor beggars… I don’t mean to say our fees compete with the hedge fund managers. But with hard work and determination, you can easily mint half a lakh or more from the comfort of your home month after month. Isn’t that bliss? Stick on to this blog and I will share with you more about the life of a writer in today’s world and the joy of writing.
